Anonymous asked: Being trans is a medical condition, not an identity. It's that simple. There's no need for a star at the end because non binary "genders" are not a thing in the real world. I'm tired of 14 year olds on tumblr making up labels and constantly bashing cisgender people. That makes real trans people look like a complete joke. No wonder so many people on this website are transphobic. If they met an ACTUAL trans person, they wouldn't think so negatively of us.

graph from official survey on trans* people stating how the people they surveyed identified:
not to mention the countless societies who, over the course of history, included concepts of gender different from western binary genders
and the fact that in certain countries it’s possible to get an “N” for neutrois for your legal gender/gender marker instead of the “M” or “F”
and that there’s actual canonical representation of genderqueer/nonbinary people in modern media, like the ever-popular show adventure time
but you know, 14 year olds made it up and it only exists on tumblr
